Waterpolo Player of the Year · Award winner
Paul Privitera — Historical sporting award
Source details
Times of Malta — Soler tops poll — selected previous Player of the Year winners ↗
Publication date: Not stated
Sirens anniversary narrative explicitly calls this Player of the Year. Its table combines national Sportsman awards with sport-specific player awards; this row is the water-polo player award, not national Sportsman of the Year or a competition medal. Pawl in the Maltese history corresponds to Paul in contemporary reporting, with the same Sirens club and 1999 award.
Secondary source — contemporary specialist sports reporting
Only two historical award facts selected; no news prose or complete ten-year list reproduced. Corroborates Jonathan Valletta 1998 and Paul Privitera 1999, both Sirens. Pawl/Paul name correspondence is supported by identical surname, club, award and year, not assumed solely from spelling. No open redistribution licence identified.
