Methodology

Every entry connects to a published source. Original divisions, uncertain details and archive gaps stay visible.

Records retain the designation given by the source. A federation-specific record is never promoted to an unrestricted national record.

The archive preserves original event names, dates and divisions. Missing details remain unstated. It does not infer equipment, anti-doping status, wind, timing method or national-team selection.

Rankings require matching classifications. Athletics entries without wind and timing evidence are excluded from calculated all-time rankings. A table of current record holders is not a record progression.

Imports validate references, values and dates, detect duplicates and quarantine conflicts for review. They never silently replace an existing verified entry. Imports are deliberate offline updates; the site remains available if a source disappears.

No photographs or editorial articles have been republished. Source databases may carry additional rights. Selected factual references and export data require a rights review before wider commercial redistribution.

Only public sporting information is used. Birth dates, private contacts and medical information are not collected. Corrections can be made through a reviewed source-data update.
